Zechao Zhuo

Research Interest:

I am interested in studying the active crustal deformation processes using the Global Position System(GPS) as a main tool. As an undergraduate in Dr. Hu’s group, I am now working on the earthquake deformation as my first step into the world of the geophysics research.

I have worked with Prof. Freymueller for 2 month to review the coseismic deformation computational calculation, made some script to unify the different file format and also found the previously underestimated map projection issue.

I am currently working on post seismic deformation following the 2016 Kumamoto earthquake sequence and want to further refine the nice work published on GRL in 2017 by Dr. Fred Pollitz, such as the effect of the volcano there and also the Pore-elastic rebound.
